I was recently asked to create a tour poster for an iconic band that was in heavy rotation for me for years. Thursday paved the way for a lot of bands and was an inspiration to mine back in the day, as well. To make things even sweeter, the band is celebrating 21 years of Full Collapse, an album I believe I bought the week it came out, and is still safely nestled in my CD binder over two decades later. Inspired by some of the lyrics, I found myself drawing this strange bird with broken glass for eyes and it felt fitting. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed drawing it. The prints turned out really well.
