It was a blast creating this print for my old buddies in The Rocketboys.
They are a fantastic band from Austin, TX, and have a knack for transporting their listeners to a different place both lyrically and sonically. I had the pleasure of playing with these gentlemen several times with my old band in my old touring days, and it was always mesmerizing.
Their album artwork utilized a canyon and disco ball overlay, and I liked the mixture of organic and metallic. For this, I wanted to keep a similar theme, but kept both images organic, though one devoid of water and one that requires it. Life juxtaposed, I suppose.
