When we first started talking about doing a second poster to follow up the November tour, the initial thought was to do something else with sharks to keep the theme going. As I was illustrating the November print, I kept wondering to myself what that scene would have looked like exact opposite point of view, and thus, we ended up with a companion poster, completing the “We’re Going to Need a Bigger Boat” set. Rob had mentioned a whale shark, which was great inspiration. I love being able to see the fin breaking the water, and also seeing the person in the little boat. I wanted it to be open ended on whether the person is terrified or totally unaware or the behemoth below.
