My art collective crewmates in Billing Bloc had our first-ever group show, partnering with our friends at Hero Complex Gallery to create Burtonesque: An Art Tribute to Tim Burton. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to pay homage to Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, and what's the adventure without the bike and the comically long chain keeping it "safe?" You know I like to look for a minimal way to say a whole lot — and I couldn't be a self-respecting Get Up Kids fan without titling the piece, "I'm A Loner, Dottie. A Rebel." I hope you like this poster as much as I enjoyed making it.
