Are you telling me you built a time machine … out of a DeLorean?!? Created for Gallery1988’s Housebear Showcase, “If the Shoe Fits.” I absolutely love Back to the Future. Of course, when you think of footwear from the trilogy, the Air Mags from the future in BTTFII come to mind immediately, but I always loved Marty's original kicks and wanted to pay tribute to the adventure they went on with him back to 1955. I was pumped to work in some metallic silver ink on this one to add a little something special to his walkman, the guitar hardware from his unforgettable performance at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance, and even the metallic guitar pick he uses in Doc's lab at the beginning of the film when he blows up the speakers.
